Perline Dayan, Director of The Kosher Culinary Center graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Finance. She has worked as an accountant for the prestigious trading firm Ladenburg Thalmann and Co. for 6 years.

Her next foray into the business world was to create her own bookkeeping and office management firm P.Ink. Despite the busy rigors of daily life raising her five children, she ran the company successfully for the past 16 years.

Mrs. Dayan has always had a passion for fine cuisine. In 2014, after over 20 successful years in the accounting and finance industry, Perline decided to pursue her passion for cooking and enrolled in the professional training program at the Center for Kosher Culinary Arts. Her culinary education was soon augmented thereafter with travel to Italy for a weeklong cooking course in regional Italian specialties.

After completing a working externship at T-Fusion Steakhouse, she was persuaded to join the kitchen brigade and became the pastry chef there.

Upon learning of the closing of CKCA, Perline and her former Culinary instructor, Chef Avram Wiseman, teamed up to open Kosher Culinary Center. Its’ aim is train people for careers in the food industry, in a kosher environment licensed by the State of New York. Perline hopes that others may enjoy the same opportunities she did and follow a new career path.
